Al-Azhar Graduates in Chad: Women are the Basis for Building and Progressing Nations

The Branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Chad held a religious lecture under the title:  “The Role of Women in Stability of the Society”, as part of the activity of the branch to confront the violence and the extremist thought and propagate the moderate thought away from exaggeration and intolerance.

It is worth mentioning that Mostafa Taher Ibrahim, a member of the Chad branch, said that women are indispensable. They keep family cohesion and stability and they are the key to sustainable development and the basis for the formation of society. Therefore, the role of women in preserving and developing the family ultimately leads to the preservation, development, and stability of society. He pointed out that the importance of women lies in the importance of the message that they fulfill, and this message is achieved by returning to the foundations and pillars established by the true Islamic religion regarding caring for women, adding that women are the effective engine and basis in building and progressing nations, and the heavenly religions emphasized the importance of the role and status of women and its ability to preserve the cohesiveness of the family and society.
