WOAG branch in Central African Republic convened a lecture under the title of “The Concept of Islamic Caliphate“. The lecture was given by Zakaria Younis, External Relations Officer in WOAG Central African Republic, and attended by 60 participants. This lecture came within the activity carried out by the Organization and its branches abroad to confront the extremist ideology, correct the misconceptions and spread moderation.
During the lecture, Mr. Zakaria Younis highlighted what the world, in general, and the Islamic nation, in particular, are going through, recently concerning the confusions, political crises, the security conflicts and battles that the Islamic East has been suffering from. These disturbances have been exploited by the terrorist groups to call for their claimed Caliphate, resulting in the existence of serious practices and dreadful phenomena such as Takfir, terrorism and violence. Younis warned against some of the intolerant groups that came to the scene and call for abandoning the Islamic societies, where they accuse them of disbelief and fight them to attain their evil objectives. Younis called upon youth to be wise and not to receive their religious knowledge from social media, where these intolerant groups propagate their venomous ideologies on the internet. He also urged parents and children to follow up with the lectures and seminars organized by WOAG branch in Central African Republic.
