Al-Azhar Graduates in Somalia: Extremism is a Plague Fragmenting Societies and Kills Tolerance among People

WOAG branch in Somalia organized a seminar under the title of “The Dangers of Terrorism on Individual and Society”, in Kalamya Preparatory and secondary school in Mogadishu. 55 students from the age group 12 to 25 years attended the seminar.

Mr. Mahmoud Kosu Mohammad Adam, a preacher and member of WOAG, stressed the negative impacts and dangers of terrorism on individual and society, explaining that extremism is a plague that fragments societies and kills tolerance among people. He added that terrorism is a social, intellectual and moral scourge that encourages deserting positive values and manners and paves the way for negative outlandish ones. He highlighted that the negative impacts of terrorism on Somalia are displacement of children and widowing women as a result of extremist, terrorist and violent actions.
