Al-Azhar Graduates branch in Kenya, Mombasa, (under construction) held a lecture entitled: “Mercy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”. The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Faisal Muhammad al-Amoody, Secretary-General of the Kenya branch.
Moreover, the lecture included introducing the Sunnah and Prophet’s mercy in dealing with those who oppose him in religion and doctrine through some examples. It is worth mentioning that some of these dealings were treating non-Muslims and granting them freedom of belief and organizing their relation with them in all fields of life. Needless to say, this asserts that Islam is far from violence and coercion; It is a religion of tolerance and mercy.
