Al-Azhar Graduates branch in India, held a lecture entitled: “Correcting Misconceptions and Saving Young People from Getting Trapped by Extremists”. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Azhar Ahmad al-Amgadi, a member of India’s branch, delivered the lecture.
During the lecture, al-Amgadi pointed out that the youth is the most targeted group by the extremist and terrorist currents. Thus, they should be protected from exaggeration and introduced to the true teachings of Islam, especially in takfir, jihad, and Walaa and Baraa. He added that young people should be urged to receive knowledge from authentic resources and moderate credible scholars.
