The branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Chad held a lecture entitled: “Jihad in Islam, Its fact and disciplines”. It was held in the capital N’Djamena. During the lecture, Mr. Ibrahim al-Nour Mohammad, a member of the organization’s branch in Chad, pointed out that Allah imposed Jihad on Muslims to promote the truth and propagate Islam; Jihad is worship with specific conditions. Furthermore, he clarified how the extremist groups misunderstand the concept of Jihad to justify killing, and blood-shedding and destabilize the safe and peaceful societies that achieve their objectives.
