The branch of al-Azhar Graduates in Benin organized a competition for Quran memorizing, with the participation of 25 students.
It is worth mentioning that Sheikh/ Younis Tory, a member of al-Azhar Graduates branch in Benin made a statement in Arabic, where he urged students to memorize the Holy Quran. Besides, he stressed that parents should send their children to the session of memorizing the Holy Quran to understand and interpret it away from misconceptions and enlighten the minds of young people. Furthermore, he affirmed that memorizing the Holy Quran is the cause of glory in the world, and Hereafter, as the Prophet (PBUH) said: “By this book, Allah would exalt some people and degrade others.”
