
Al-Mahrasawy: Cooperation is a must in order to face extremist ideologies.
Hajji Ismail: We praise the role of the Organization in supporting Malaysian Azhari students.
A Delegation from the Malaysian State of Johor visited the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates. The Delegation was welcomed by Prof. Mohammad Al-Mahrasawy, Vice-Chairman of the Organization.
In addition, the delegation commended efforts exerted by the Organization in anchoring moderation globally and in supporting international students in general and Malaysian students in particular. It also called for further academic and cultural cooperation between the Organization and the Malaysian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Johor State, especially with regards to translating publications of the Organization that refute extremist ideologies besides Noor Magazine and Ar-Ruwaq Newspaper.
Prof. Al-Mahrasawy affirmed that the Organization is always willing to provide various forms of academic and cultural support to the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Malaysian State of Johor. It is also ready to promote positive steps of communication and cooperation to face and refute extremist ideologies.
It is worth mentioning that the Malaysian delegation comprised Hajji Ismail, Head of the Malaysian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Johor State and Mohammad Al-Senousy, Head of Center of Islamic and Arab Studies in the State.
