
Prof. Mohammad al-Mahrasawy and Osama Yaseen, Vice-Chairpersons of al-Azhar Graduates, opened the activities of the Egyptian National Library and Archives Fair at al-Azhar Graduates’ headquarters, in the presence of Prof. Nevine Mohammad Mousa, Head of the Egyptian National Library and Archives.
It is worth mentioning that Prof. al-Mahrasawy clarified that the fair is held for the first time on campus at al-Azhar University, in al-Azhar Graduates’ headquarters in Nasr City. He added that the fair aims to rebuild the youth’s awareness of the historical events, regarding the essential historical documents recorded on the pages of history with golden ink.
Also, it aims to facilitate access to the publications of the Egyptian National Library and Archives and the organization at symbolic and reduced prices for students and researchers as a part of the cultural season of the new academic year 2022/2023.
Moreover, the first day’s events saw a great turnout of students from several nationalities due to the diversity of books in different academic fields with up to 50% discounts. Likewise, the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates is participating with some scholarly publications, in addition to various religious and educational publications of Noor Magazine and Noor the junior, at a discount of up to 50% during the fair, which runs until the 5th of October.
