The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Benin delivered a lecture entitled “Raising children and shielding them against extremist ideologies” in Parakou City with the participation of 100 people. During the lecture, Mr. Husayn Ishaq Sila, Secretary General of the Organization’s Branch in Benin, pointed to the importance of adhering to moderation, receiving religious sciences from accredited sources away from extremist groups and the necessity of raising children in accordance with the moderate Islamic approach in order not to join extremist groups. He also stressed on protecting them from behavioral and moral deviations as well as bringing them up according to Islamic teachings and values.
