The Grand Imam Directs to Receive al-Azhar Secondary School Students from Gaza Residing in Egypt

Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, directed to receive al-Azhar secondary school students from Gaza’s institutes residing in Egypt, at al-Azhar 15th of May youth hostel. During examinations, the students will be provided with full accommodation out of al-Azhar keenness to spare them the loss of an academic year. This came as part of the humanitarian role played by al-Azhar, and in consideration of the conditions of Gaza’s students.

Prof. Mohammad ad- Duwaini, Deputy of the Grand Imam, stressed that the Grand Imam directed to preserve continuous communications with the students and to provide them with all amenities and means of comfort, especially during the disastrous conditions they are going through. He explained that His Eminence follows up on their daily affairs, wishing them all success.

On his part, Sheikh Ayman Abdul Ghani, Head of Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, said that instructors of all subjects have been assigned to explain and review the curricula with the students before examinations. He added that the students will be received and housed in al-Azhar 15th of May youth hostel, in order to provide them with the proper atmosphere to raise their morale.
