
Prof. Mohammad ad-Duwini, Deputy of the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, offered condolences, on Saturday, over the Death of the Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, his Foreign Minister and their delegation, who passed away in a helicopter crash.
During his visit to the Iranian Ambassador in Cairo, the Grand Imam’s Deputy extended al-Azhar’s and Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb’s, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ad-Duwini expressed his wish that the Iranian people will overcome such difficult stage with patience and faith, praying to Allah Almighty to envelop the victims with his vast mercy and forgiveness and to grant the Iranian people and the victims’ families patience and solace.
