The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Somalia- Qardho held a training course, in cooperation with the Egyptian Azhari Mission in Somalia, at al-Ilm Masjid in Qardho. The training course teaches the principles of the art of oration, dawah, as well as qualifying orators and preachers. Allah Almighty says “Say: ‘This is my way: I call to Allah, being upon sure knowledge, I and whoever follows me. So Glory be to Allah! And I am not of the idolaters”. [Q. 12:108]. It is worth noting that Prof. Muath Fathi al-Houweihy, Prof. Mahmoud Morsi Mohammad and Prof. Moustafa Ahmad Badr, Preachers at Islamic Research Academy of a-Azhar ash-Sharif, lectured during this course.
In addition, the course included practical application and training in public speaking to assess the extent of benefit from the course and to identify strong and weak points of each speaker. The best trainees will be selected to participate in delivering Friday sermons (khutbah) with the honorable preachers of al-Azhar ash-Sharif.
