
In celebration of the glorious October Victory, al-Azhar Mosque is hosting a special forum today, Monday, titled “Factors of Victory.” The event highlights the significance of this national occasion and reflects on the valuable lessons drawn from this historic moment in the nation’s history, following the directives of His Eminence, Grand Imam Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, Sheikh of al-Azhar.
The forum will feature prominent figures, including Prof. Abbas Shouman, President of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates and Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Prof. Ibrahim al-Hudhud, a member of the Organization and former President of al-Azhar University, and Prof. Abdul Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of Academic Activities at al-Azhar University.
Prof. Abdul Moneim Fouad emphasized that the forum will explore the various social and political factors that contributed to the victory, offering insights on how these elements can inspire solutions to contemporary challenges. Additionally, the forum will present recommendations for strengthening the national spirit among youth and fostering national pride and culture.
Prof. Hani Odah, Director General of al-Azhar Mosque, added that the forum aims to raise national awareness among young people and underscore the importance of unity and resilience in overcoming challenges. It also encourages discussions on how to apply the lessons of the past to build a better future for Egypt. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their views and experiences, contributing to the development of a generation proud of its heritage and dedicated to shaping its future.
This forum is held under the generous patronage of His Eminence, Grand Imam Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, with the approval of Prof. Mohammad ad-Duwini, Deputy of al-Azhar and Member of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates, and under the supervision of Prof. Abdul Moneim Fouad and Prof. Hani Odah.
