The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates launched a comprehensive awareness campaign across various governorates entitled “October: Memory of a Nation” until the end of October. This comes as part of the Organization’s celebrations of the 51st anniversary of the glorious October victories, in implementation of the directives of Prof. Abbas Shouman, Secretary General of al-Azhar Council of Senior Scholars and President of the Organization.
The campaign included presenting the heroism of Egyptian soldiers, highlighting exceptional achievement accomplished by the Egyptian Army in planning and execution, the lessons learned from the glorious event, and the role of al-Azhar scholars in this battle through boosting the Egyptian spirit, raising the soldiers’ determination and lifting the internal morale of the Egyptian people before the battle.
In addition, the campaign targets university and al-Azhar institutes’ students in the governorates, with the participation of a group of al-Azhar scholars as well as male and female preachers from various governorates. The campaign also includes numerous programs, seminars, and workshops conducted by the Organization’s offices in the governorates, in cooperation with the al-Azhar Ambassadors Project at al-Azhar University and its branches.
