In Cooperation with al-Azhar International Academy for Training Imams, Preachers & Fatwa Researchers: Al-Azhar Graduates Launches “Qualifying Contemporary Mufti” Training Course for German Researchers

The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates launched, yesterday, an E-training course under the title of “Qualifying Contemporary Mufti” with the participation of 32 trainees from Germany. The course was convened in cooperation with al-Azhar International Academy for Training Imams, Preachers and Fatwa Researchers.

The training course tackles a number of topics such as: the jurisprudential renewal, its fields and principles, the principles of Fatwa, Fiqh of interests and objectives, Fatwa drafting skills, tools of the Mufti and other crucial issues. A number of al-Azhar senior and prominent scholars are lecturing during the training course.

In the same vein, the training course aims to: refining the trainees’ skills, providing them with cutting-edge expertise and methods that will upgrade their scientific level and help them to address the intellectual, jurisprudential and doctrinal issues as well as guiding them to how, perfectly, use and deal with the modern methods.

Further, the training course seeks to qualify the trainees in order to tackle the religious issues that emerge every now and then or that imposed by reality and development. The trainees will be capable of delivering the information to the enquirer, in a way that demonstrates the tolerance of Islam on which al-Azhar approach is based.
