A high-level cultural delegation from the Research Center for Chinese Borderland History and Geography visited the headquarters of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Cairo. Mr. Wael Bekhit, Vice-President of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates, and Prof. Abdul Dayyem Nosseir, Secretary-General of the Organization received the delegation.
During the meeting, Prof. Xing Guangteng, Director of Research Center for Chinese Borderland History and Geography- Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, expressed his happiness with this visit, on which the Chinese side places great hopes for strengthening cooperation in scientific and cultural fields that serve both countries.
Prof. Abdul Dayyem said that the Organization opens its cultural and scientific doors to all Chinese citizens and is happy to extend cooperation in various fields of knowledge, benefiting both sides.
Mr. Wael Bekhit also expressed his happiness with this visit, which is considered the beginning of a fruitful cultural cooperation and local exchange between China and Egypt and between the two entities as educational and intellectual establishments.
