The Board of Directors of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates, headed by His Eminence Prof. Abbas Shouman, President of the Organization and Secretary-General of al-Azhar Council of Senior Scholars; Prof. Salama Dawood, Vice-President of the Organization and President of al-Azhar University; Major General Wael Bekhit, Vice-President of the Organization; and Prof. Abdul Dayyem Nosseir, Secretary-General of the Organization, in addition to all members of the Board, its employees, and the heads of foreign and domestic branches, extend their warm wishes to His Eminence the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, may Allah protect him, on the occasion of his birthday. They pray to Allah Almighty to grant him health and well-being, that he would benefit Islam, Muslims, and all humanity, and that he would always be a treasure for Islam and its people, a supporter, and a defender of truth.
The Board affirms that celebrating the birthday of at-Tayyeb is not merely celebrating a passing memory of an ordinary person, but rather a celebration and honoring of the symbol of peace and moderation in the modern era. His life is a journey full of giving and achievements, as he dedicated his life to spreading the tolerance of Islam, serving humanity, supporting the causes of the nation, and defending the rights of the oppressed and downtrodden throughout the world, thereby reaching a great status in the hearts and minds of peoples worldwide.
Moreover, the Board urges the youth to follow the example of at-Tayyeb, who devoted himself to spreading values and ethics, achieving justice, and defending human freedom, thus becoming a symbol and an imam. May Allah protect the Grand Imam, bless his knowledge, and crown his efforts and endeavors successfully.
