Al-Azhar ash-Sharif condemns the Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. These attacks damaged several civilian and vital facilities.
Al-Azhar strongly rejects these strikes, emphasizing that they threaten civilian security, violate the sovereignty of Arab nations, and endanger the safety of their peoples and territories.
Al-Azhar also warned that continuing these attacks undermines regional de-escalation efforts. It stressed the urgent need for restraint, urging all parties to prioritize wisdom, reason, and diplomacy to safeguard the region’s shared interests.
Al-Azhar prays to Almighty Allah to protect the Arab Gulf states and all Arab and Islamic nations, asking Him to spare their peoples the horrors of conflict and grant them enduring security, stability, and peace.
