Al-Azhar Graduates in Bangladesh: Good Manners and Dealing Kindly with Others Promote Peaceful Coexistence

The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Bangladesh held a religious seminar entitled “Good manners” on the ceremony of distributing free textbooks at the Al-Gouthiya Ahmadiya Sunni High School in Chittagong city. Sheikh Mohammad Shaistah Khan Al-Azhari, the School Principal and Secretary General of the Branch, Branch members, as well as male and female students of the School, attended the ceremony.

In addition, Sheikh Khan Al-Azhari pointed out the importance of good manners and that the honorable Prophetic Sirah emphasized the importance of morals and their status in Islamic Shariah. He also advised students to abide by good manners, citing many Prophetic hadiths. Allah Almighty also praised His noble Prophet for his good manners in the Holy Quran, saying, “And assuredly you possess a magnificent nature.” [Q. 68:4] This holy verse indicates that our tolerant religion calls for good manners and dealing kindly with others to promote peaceful coexistence while adhering to the moderate approach that rejects violence, extremism, and ghulu.
