The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Thailand, in cooperation with the Faculty of Islamic Studies of Krik University, held a seminar on Al-Azhar moderation.
Sheikh Mabrouk Bunmalert, President of the Organization Branch in Thailand, pointed out that Islam is the religion of moderation and that the one who strays off this moderation eventually strays off the essence of Islam. He added that Islam discards extremism in all aspects of life. He also urged students to study at Al-Azhar University, shedding light on its advantages such as respecting diverse opinions and freedom of opinion. In this regard, he stressed that Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif and the Organization play a pivotal role in facing extremist thought and spreading tolerance among nations. It is worth noting that this seminar is within the framework of promoting communication between the Organization and educational entities in Thailand, aiming to spread moderate thought.
