Likewise, al-Azhar expresses its full humanitarian solidarity with the Venezuelan people in this time of bereavement.
Moreover, al-Azhar is following with great sorrow the news of collapsed buildings and residential towers, as well as the declaration of a state of emergency and intensive evacuation measures in the affected areas. Furthermore, al-Azhar calls upon the international community and global relief organizations to provide humanitarian field support, assist rescue teams in locating those trapped under the rubble, and provide shelter for the displaced.
Al-Azhar ash-Sharif extends its deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, praying to Allah Almighty to grant the injured a speedy recovery and to encompass all of humanity with His grace.
