Sheikh Faisal al-‘Amoudi, Secretary General of WOAG branch in Kenya, Mombasa (under construction), witnessed the graduation ceremony of al-Husayni secondary school. Al-‘Amoudi gave a lecture on the sidelines of the ceremony, in which he urged the students to preserve the legacy that served humanity and attained peace, security and tolerance throughout ages. He also warned against following odd approaches that may corrupt the ideology and defame religion, stressing the necessity of building the intellectual security of the youth by adopting approaches that establish the culture of proficiency and quality. Al-‘Amoudi urged the attendees not get affected by the destructive calls disseminated by terrorists and extremists, in order to detach the youth from their religion, taking advantage of the youth’s poor religious knowledge and enthusiasm. Indeed, such distorted education resulted in the recruitment of youth within these corrupted deviant groups.
