Within the framework of community participation by the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Kaduna- Nigeria, the branch visited a number of orphanages in Kaduna State, distributed gifts and aid to the orphans, and provided financial assistance to those in need. The Branch also organized an introductory lecture on the tolerant nature of Islam and its moderation, calling for avoiding extremism and radicalism. This activity comes as part of the Organization’s keenness to open channels of communication with Al-Azhar graduates all over the world, especially in the African continent, where such assistance reinforces the message of the moderation of Al-Azhar that calls for rejecting violence and extremism as well as spreading the values of peace and peaceful coexistence all over the world.
