The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates’ branch in India convened an awareness gathering in al-Masjid al-Kabeer in Telangana state, Hyderabad. The gathering came under the title of “Reforming Society”, during which Mr. Mohammad Khaled al-Azhari, member of the branch and Lecturer at Hyderabad Nezam University, highlighted the necessity of adhering to moderation in all life aspects.
The lecturer added that Islam is much distinguished with its moderate approach and teachings; indeed, moderation is the main essence of Islam since Noah to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), as true Muslims make up the moderate nation. In fact, for Muslims, moderation, without doubt, is the righteous path, guidance and benevolence.
In the same context, the lecturer underlined that the approach revealed by the Holy Quran to humanity lies on moderation in all the aspects it urges; indeed, Quran is the constituted justice, that whoever adheres to it will be saved in life and hereafter. Hence, moderation has a great impact in every Quranic rule and verse and its meanings can be tracked in the different contexts and positions.
