The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Indonesia launched a global campaign entitled “Al-Azhar: Beacon of Moderation” on the occasion of the 1084 anniversary of the establishment of Al-Azhar Mosque, which coincides with the 7th of Ramadan.
The campaign aims to present the role of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif in disseminating moderation and the true image of Islam through some videos, seminars, and lectures held by the Organization’s foreign branches worldwide.
The campaign also stresses Al-Azhar’s continuity of its great historical role since its establishment in spreading the culture of peace, human coexistence, and tolerant religion to become an ever-lasting fortress for all Muslims worldwide.
